LE MAC VAL S’EXPOSE À PARIS-ORLY Pierre Soulages, Christian Boltanski ou Esther Ferrer : Paris Aéroport invite le MAC VAL, le Musée d’art contemporain du Val-de-Marne, et propose, dans le grand couloir reliant Orly 3 à Orly 4, une plongée à travers ses collections. ART CONTEMPORAIN

B ringing the best of French culture to its airports, in partnership with major museums in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, is the cornerstone of Groupe ADP’s cultural projects. In this context, the Musée d’Art Contemporain du Val-de-Marne and Paris Aéroport are joining forces to bring the rst contempo- rary art exhibition to Paris-Orly from the summer of 2023 to 2025: Voyage au MAC VAL . From the summer of 2023 to 2025, around twenty reproductions of the museum’s most emblematic works will be on display in the public area along the outdoor conveyor belt linking Orly 3 to Orly 4. These works of art will transform the airport into an artistic stop- over: Christian Boltanski’s Les Regards , Esther Ferrer’s Feminist Hands or Alain Séchas’s Soir Rose .

Parmi les œuvres transformant l’aéroport en une escale artis- tique : Les Regards , de Chris- tian Boltanski, Mains féministes , d’Esther Ferrer, ou Soir rose , d’Alain Séchas. Plusieurs autres grands noms de l’art contempo- rain sont aussi à retrouver, comme le maître de l’Outrenoir disparu en 2022, Pierre Soulages, ou l’un des principaux représentants de la guration narrative, Jacques Monory. L’exposition se poursuit sur les pelouses extérieures avec deux immenses reproductions Les Grands Fumeurs du sculpteur Alain Séchas, de près de 3 mètres de hauteur. Avec plus d’une vingtaine de pro- jets culturels présentés actuelle- ment à Paris-Charles de Gaulle et Paris-Orly, Paris Aéroport sou- haite faire de l’art une expérience à part entière du voyage. ◆

Other great names in contempo- rary art include the master of the Outrenoir , Pierre Soulages, who died in 2022, and one of the main exponents of narrative guration, Jacques Monory. The aim is to bring contemporary art to the airport and immerse passengers in the MAC VAL. In addition to the works installed along the conveyor belt, the sce- nography continues on the out- door lawns as well, with two giant 10-ft (3-m) high reproductions of Les Grands Fumeurs by sculptor Alain Séchas. Thanks to the Paris Aéroport initiative, art is accessible to all and becomes a part of the travel experience. There are currently around twenty-seven free of charge cultural projects show- cased at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. ◆

F aire rayonner le meilleur de la culture française dans ses aéroports en s’al- liant avec de grands musées pari- siens et franciliens ou des artistes français : voilà la clé de voûte des projets culturels Paris Aéroport. Dans ce cadre, Paris Aéroport, en partenariat avec le Musée d’art contemporain du Val-de-Marne, présente à Paris-Orly l’exposition Voyage au MAC VAL . Depuis cet été et jusqu’en 2025, une ving- taine de reproductions d’œuvres emblématiques du musée sont exposées en zone publique, le long du tapis roulant extérieur reliant Orly 3 à Orly 4.
