The increase in purchases consumed of €372 million compared with 2021 is explained as follows by main items: ◆ an increase in purchases of goods of €176 million, mainly due to the higher cost of goods sold at the commercial joint ventures, correlated with the increase in revenues;

◆ 153 million increase in the cost of fuel sold, solely at Almaty, due to the combined effects of the full-year effect of the integration of the concession in May 2021 and an increase in volumes sold over the same period; ◆ 16 million increase in purchases of materials, equipment and works, mainly relating to work carried out on behalf of Société du Grand Paris in connection with the construction of the Paris Orly station.
