Fermé pour travaux de 2021 à 2024, le Grand Palais est suppléé par un bâtiment modulable sur le Champ-de-Mars. Réouverture pour les JO.

Closed for renovations from 2021 to 2024, the Grand Palais will be supplemented by a modular building on the Champ-de-Mars. The reopening is scheduled for the Olympic Games.

T he Grand Palais is getting a makeover in pre- paration for the Paris Olympics and will close its doors in January 2021 for a three-year renova- tion. Upon reopening, in the summer of 2024, it will host the fencing and t kwondo competitions. While closed, visitors will be welcomed at the Grand Palais Éphémère, a miniature version of the museum set the Champ-de-Mars, between the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the modular 10,000 sq m (108,000 sq ft) building will host the judo and wrestling competi-
