FONTAINE MÉDICIS (6 e ARR.) Construite vers 1630, elle est l’une des

attractions du jardin du Luxembourg, autrefois très prisée par Victor Hugo, Musset ou Chopin. Au-dessus du bassin, on peut y admirer les statues du cyclope Polyphème surprenant la nymphe Galatée dans les bras du berger Acis. Dramatiquement romantique. FONTAINE MÉDICIS (6TH ARR.) Built around 1630, this fountain, admired by Victor Hugo, Alfred de Musset, and Chopin, is one of the Luxembourg Gardens’ main attractions. The dramatic sculpture above the basin depicts the cyclops Polyphemus discovering Galatea in the arms of the shepherd Acis.
