RUE DES BARRES (4 e ARR.) Cette rue doit son nom aux moulins construits sur la rivière à l’époque médiévale et qui appartenaient aux Templiers. Aujourd’hui, c’est un autre édifice imposant qui la protège, l’église Saint-Gervais.

RUE DES BARRES (4TH ARR.) Named for the medieval mills bordering

the river which were owned by the Knights Templar, the street is still home to the imposing 16th-century Saint-Gervais church.
