VICTOR HUGO, LIBERTY AT THE PANTHÉON

At the 135th anniversary of Victor Hugo’s death, the Panthéon pays tribute to the great writer with the exhibition Liberty at the Panthéon , exploring the in uence of liberty on the author’s life and work. It’s a chance to take another look at two important dates in French literary history: Hugo’s funeral, on May 31, 1885, and the following procession on June 1st with a cortege of nearly two million people.

anniversaire des funérailles de Victor Hugo, le Panthéon rend hommage à l’écrivain à travers l’exposition La liberté, au Panthéon , qui explore l’in uence de la liberté sur son parcours et son œuvre. L’événement sera l’occasion de revenir sur deux dates marquantes de l’histoire littéraire française, la veillée funèbre du 31 mai 1885 et le grand dé lé du 1 er juin composé d’un cortège de près de deux millions de personnes.

Vous toucherez et manipulerez les pierres, comprendrez et étudierez, en écoutant nos professeurs, leur incroyable diversité.

“PRECIOUS STONES DISCOVERY” WORKSHOP Explore the essence of stones to unravel their mystery and learn to appreciate their compelling beauty. Two gemologists take you on this journey from the birth of gemstones to their extraction and cutting, and let you handle and examine the stones to discover their incredible diversity.
