This guide presents the Groupe ADP logo and gives the rules for using it (colour references, minimum size, protection, etc.)
With it is a style guide that will cover the ingredients of the graphic territory associated with the Groupe ADP brand, and present principles for application that are set out in thematic guidelines (stationery, publishing, etc.)

GROUPE ADP: an institutional brand for France and the world
The Groupe ADP brand is used to express the full range of activities in France and abroad. Externally, it supports relationships with public authorities, shareholders, financial markets, and partners. Internally, it is the common basis for affiliation of all employees, whom it brings together around a business project.

Symbol
To respond to the variety of applications for which it is used, the Groupe ADP brand is expressed through two logo versions: - a reference logo that is used in most situations - a secondary version , which is used in universes with size constraints (please see page 12) . Reference logo The main version of the logo must be given precedence wherever possible on all the brand’s institutional communication supports (e.g. stationery or activity reports).
A capital construction The brand is made of:
- a symbol that embodies the radiance of Paris, with the Eiffel Tower, a strong iconic sign of Parisian identity that has been revisited for the brand - a typeface in upper-case letters with a specific design for a capital brand, with two different thicknesses and a specific design for the “A” that evokes the architectural structure of the Eiffel Tower.

Logo versions
Secondary version There is another version of the logo that is intended for special cases: - a horizontal version to be used when the available height is limited, especially in a digital context, on web sites and intranets, as well as for marking some advertising items or for signage on buildings.

Logo colours
The logo is available in Pantone, four-colour printing, RGB, black monochrome, reserve, and RAL colour matching.
The four-colour printing version This version is for all print communication supports (publishing, displays, etc.). It is the preferred version for all communication.
RGB version It is used in supports involving office automation and in digital supports.
Black monochrome version This version of the logo is used only in cases of printing constraints, if the blue four-colour printing version cannot be used.
Reserve version This version is used when the logo is applied to a dark background.
RAL version This version is used when the logo is painted, for example on some signage supports. The colours also apply to the secondary version.

Rules for using the reference logo
Protection area The protection area defines an area around the logo in which no graphic element (text, outline, or image) must appear. It is defined in relation to the height of two “P”s for ADP. Minimum size That minimum size must be respected to preserve the visibility and legibility of the logo. The logo must not be used at a width of less than 15 mm. The name Groupe ADP in a text When the name is given in running text, it is made up of upper-case and lower-case letters as follows: Groupe ADP.

Rules for using the reference logo
Don'ts The logo must be reproduced unaltered.Its design, typeface, and colour must not be modified. 1. N o colour change is authorised other than the versions provided. 2. D o not go below the minimum size. 3. A ll distortion is prohibited. 4. T he scaling ratio between the elements must not be changed. 5. T he typeface of the name must not be modified. 6. T he Gotham typeface must not be used to imitate the logo. 7. T he name must not be used without the sign. 8. T he placing of the name and the sign must not be modified. 9. T he logo must not be used in a cartouche. 10. The protection area around the logo must be respected to preserve its legibility.

Rules for using the secondary version of the logo
Protection area The protection area defines an area around the logo in which no graphic element (text, outline, or image) must appear. It is defined in relation to the height of a “P” for ADP for the horizontal version. Minimum size The horizontal version must not be used at a width of less than 22 mm. The minimum size must be respected to preserve the visibility and legibility of the logo.

Uses on photographic and coloured backgrounds
The logo can be placed on photographic and coloured backgrounds. The only requirements are to choose the logo version (in colour or in reserve) that offers the best legibility and that best respects the protection area, taking care to use photographic backgrounds with minimum disruption.
Those rules also apply to the secondary version.

Don’ts against photographic and coloured backgrounds
1. T he logo must not be used on disrupted backgrounds. 2. T he coloured logo must not be used against dense coloured backgrounds. 3. T he reserve version of the logo must not be used against light- coloured backgrounds.
Those rules also apply to the secondary version.
